Lalong fulfills promise, commence building of Karl Kumm University library complex

Construction work for the building of a modern library complex for COCIN) owned Karl Kumm University (KKU) has commenced .
Our correspondent report that the pledge to build the proposed library was initiated by the immediate past administration but was not accomplished ,recently Governor Simon Lalong made a pledge to build the library and work has commenced .
Conducting newsmen around the building , the Permanent Secretary Ministry of housing in Plateau ,Albert Bewarang said the library is been built by civil servants in the state Ministry of housing as the contract was given out as direct labour .
,”We have competent builders , Architectures , in our ministry , I am impressed with the level of work ,this is one of the Lalong legacy projects “
“We are pleased that Lalong fulfilled his promises to the church by laying the foundation some months ago and now building the school literary complex “adding that it is a proof of the governor’s interest in the development of educational infrastructure in the state through his policies and programmes.
We appreciate the Governor of Plateau State, Rt Hon. Simon Bako Lalong for making good the promise of the Plateau State government by commencing the building of the library at the proposed Karl Kumm University (KKU)
Director of building of the state ministry of housing Arch Solomon Jankanwa said he is impressed with the level of work , he said this is just the sixth week , we must commend our Governor for fulfilling his promises , recently when our Governor made the pledge to build the library , some persons thought he was playing politics , but we thank God our Governor has proved his critics wrong.
He further said the Lalong led administration has prioritized the educational sector and is determined to better the lives of citizens .
