Ahead of the Presidential election bill for Saturday, and with the northern candidature of the opposition APC continues to gather momentum, Plateau State Governor, Jonah Jang has called on Northern Nigerians to allow President Goodluck Jonathan complete his second tenure by voting him during the Saturday election to enable the region takeover the Presidency in 2019.
Jang who was speaking at a town hall meeting held in Pankshin LGA in Plateau Central Senatorial District, Thursday, said the Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari was ousted out of power as Military Head of State for lack of credibility and poor performance.

Jang who was speaking at a town hall meeting held in Pankshin LGA in Plateau Central Senatorial District, Thursday, said the Presidential Candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC), Muhammadu Buhari was ousted out of power as Military Head of State for lack of credibility and poor performance.
“If Buhari did not performed as Military Head of State, he will not do anything as a civilian President, therefore lacks the credentials to represent the North.
Jang who is vying for the Senatorial seat of Plateau North, expressed dismay over the skewed distribution of PVCs by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in the State, but was optimistic that with the available PVCs so far distributed, the State will deliver 1.8 million votes to President Jonathan.
He noted that the town hall meeting is geared towards curbing any hitches that will temper with the block votes of the People’s Democratic Party during the March, 28th, and April, 11th, polls.
According to him “we need a President that will consolidate on the improvement so far recorded in the Power sector, we have the trains moving today and the corruption that has been so much in the Agricultural sector has been tackled, farmers now get fertilizer without hitches.
“So, the North should be patient and allow President Jonathan to finish his second tenure so that it can take over in 2019.
Meanwhile, Senator Representing Plateau Central and former Governor of the State, Joshua Dariye said to ensure that President Jonathan is delivered during the Saturday election, every political stakeholder in the state should deliver his polling unit to enable PDP win the election with overwhelming votes.
Dariye urged Nigerians to take the Saturday election very serious, saying the opposition APC should not be underrated during the polls.
Also, Plateau State PDP Candidate, and Senator representing Plateau North, Gyang Pwajok noted that Plateau State has produce leaders that have united Nigeria thereby placing the state on National politics and stressed that the task of delivering President Jonathan and all PDP candidates during the general election is a collective responsibility that must be pursue vigorously.
