Berom Ministers’ Forum Concludes 40 Days of Praying and Fasting with Prophetic Service

The Berom Minister’s Forum (BEMFO) under the leadership of Rev. John Nash today held a miraculous and prophetic service to round up its 7th Year 40 Days of Praying and Fasting.

The event held at COCIN RCC Vwang Jos South LGA, Plateau State.

Da Rev. John Nash said the essence of the service was to worship, praise, honor, adore and exalt God for his mercies towards the Berom Nation and sustaining her.

He said the people are being killed and harassed unjustly saying the blood being shed will definitely cry out to God for vengeance.

He said God is with the Berom Nation and will continue to deliver them from all enemies.

This is the 7th year the event is holding.

Rev. Nash said no nation can progress if God is not with it.

He said next year’s event will be exceptional as special prayers will be organized separately for women, youths, men, teens, clergies, widows, politicians, etc.

He said the prayers will run simultaneously across all the Berom Districts.

Special prayers was said by COCIN President, Rev. Dr. Dachollom Datiri to Berom Traditional Rulers, Elders, Lawyers, Elected Politicians, Permanent Secretaries etc.

National President of Mwaghavul Development Association (MDA), Mr. Joshua Mape described the Berom as peaceful, hospitable and industrious people.

He said they will continue to unite with the Berom to fight the common enemies.

He said the people must stand to defend their heritage and also spoke against divisiveness being promoted by political merchants.

He said the unity and bond between the Mwaghavul and Berom will remain forever saying an injury to the Berom Nation affects the Mwaghavul Nation directly and vice versa.

He concluded by calling on the people to ignore those beating the drum of disunity and promote unity at all times.

The Senator-Elect Plateau North Barr I.D. Gyang has attributed the election of seven legislators of Berom stock to the mercies and hand of God upon the land.
The Lawmaker made this disclosure when he spoke on behalf of all newly elected Berom Legislators both at the State and National Levels during prayer session organized by Berom Ministers’ Forum (BEMFO) to climax the 7th Year 40 days of prayers and fasting.

The Senator-Elect Attributed Prevailing Peace to God as Berom Nation Rounds up Seven Years of 40 Days Prayer and Fasting.

Rep. Barr. I. D. Gyang thanked all those who graced the occasion, especially paramount ruler of Tafawa Balewa/Bogoro, Bauchi State and a very strong representation from the Mwaghavul nation. He stated that God responded to the seven years of 40 days yearly prayer and fasting with blessing the land with peace and the election if seven sons of the land into the State and National Assembly. The seven for seven, is a prophetic sign of divine intervention and backing.

The Senator elect also expressed confidence in the providence and goodness of God and the fact that every nation group and nationality has great prospects in God. He further stated that no nationality can attain its ordained destiny in isolation except in synergy and harmony with it’s neighbours and other citizens.

Sen. Jang while speaking thanked the Mwaghavul nation for the fraternity.
He thanked BEMFO for the prayers which has been answered as visibly shown by the prevailing peace in the land. He attributed the resilience and surviving grace of the Berom Nation to God’s answer to the cry of his people in the seven years of 40 days fasting and prayers.

He charged the elected representatives to work in unison for the collective interest of the people and the good of the land.

He went further to say the Berom Nation is blessed and God has started what no forces can stop.

Prophet Musa the Guest Speaker said the enemies will contend with the Berom Nation but God is with them and will deliver them.

He said the Berom Nation are like the Israelites and can never be wiped out saying the Lord will cut off betrayers and the enemies of Berom Nation.

Charged the Berom Nation to return to God and do away with all ungodly ways.

He said God has a covenant with the Berom nation which is the reason why they are existing against the plans of their enemies.

The Gbong Gwom Jos, Chairman Council of Chiefs and Emirs Plateau state and President Jos Traditional Council, HRM Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CON applauded BEMFO for the initiative which he said is laudable, commendable and urged them to sustained same.

He urged the people to live godly lives and abstain from activities that are capable of ruining their lives.

He charged them to unite, be promoters of peace and respect constituted authorities.

The event was well attended and did feature song ministrations.
