REP-ELECT HON. DACHUNG BAGOS, PAY NECO REGISTRATION FOR 40 STUDENTS IN HIS CONSTITUENCY.
8th, April 2019.
In line with his futuristic campaign mantra “EQUIPPING THE NEXT GENERATION”, and his desire to promote equal opportunities for all, Hon. Dachung Bagos has paid NECO registration to students from Jos south and Jos East Local Government Areas, who are orphans, less privileged and fatherless youngsters.
Speaking on the reason for the kind gesture, Bagos, who lost his father at a very young age said he knows what his mother went through to send them to school. “I know how sad and painful it was when I couldn’t pay for my WAEC at the right time…. I had to wait for two years after my set graduated before I could write mine”. I can relate with how some parent’s manage to sponsor their children from JS1 to SS3, then find it extremely difficult to handle the issue of WAEC registration. I know what parents go through.”
“And as an Apostle believer in the next generation, I know that we cannot have an equipped generation without good educational background because the performance, capacity and human capital growth of that generation would be very low. If we really want to compete with the developed world, we must make sure that generations coming behind us are educationally strong.”
“I see this as an opportunity to make a difference. I know we can’t do all, but we shall help as many as possible. THERE ARE MANY OF US WHO CAN ALSO HELP, IT MUSTN’T BE POLITICIANS.”
In Jos South, the funds were received through the church while in Jos East, through the Acting district head of Shere district, Adagwom Itse Iki Kashidung, to ensure that the money is used for it’s rightful purpose.
Both parties thanked Hon. Bagos immensely and also heartily prayed for him and all that concerns him.
