The Former Secretary to Plateau State Government, Hon. Chief Rufus Bature has emerged victorious in the APC Senate Primaries for Plateau State.
Chief Rufus Bature clinched the Senate ticket by securing 878 Votes to beat his closest opponent Rep. Edward Pwajok, SAN Member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency who pulled 729 Votes. Former Member House of Representatives Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency, Rep. Lumumba Dah Adeh scored 390 Votes, Da Yakubu Pam Jack got 101 Vote while 14 invalid votes were recorded.
With this victory, Chief Rufus Bature will slug it out with Rep. Barr. I. D. Gyang, Member representing Barkin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency of the PDP in the main election.
