Chris Giwa condemns, Rukuba road killings

Proprietor of Giwa Football Club Jos, Amb Chris Giwa and also an aspirant for the Plateau North Senatorial Zone at the weekend condemn the killings of innocent citizens in the Rukuba road area of Jos .

Giwa in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos reads that “I truly and deeply lack words to express my heart regret towards this barbaric act that has kept tormenting our people and the residence of Rukuba road, and the entire plateau at large.

I mourn with the people and residence being affected, knowingly well That government of the day cannot protect the life’s and property of it’s citizen in and out on the plateau, it’s so pathetic that the dignity and very lives of our family, brothers, and sisters are daily toy with like fowls or chicken in our lands, and literally taken away from us.

I wonder and ponder on how daily our people live in fear orchestrated by same faces trade places in our environment and community without any demand for Equal rights and Justice, Peace, and stability to the families, making our people camp in IDP , living their own ancestral land worth billions of properties.

Yet, the Perpetrators of all this heinous acts and brutal move have not been brought to book by law or securities of this country, but rather security forces against its own citizens and people. As a people under siege by conspiracy and death, I take a bold step and stand with all my people on the plateau regardless of size or colour, tribe or ethnic affiliations to demand for truth, justice, peace and equipment of human rights and equity by the law, security forces for this families down to all IDPs camp’s the need to get back home to their houses and ancestral lands.

While the perpetrators of these acts should be brought to book by law and face the music of there consequences since according to law no individual, institution, or organization is above the rule of law.

Even though, the Government of the day is not doing the needful as it should be doing, I expect them to yet still gear up to it’s duty and Responsibilities of doing the right thing in the middle of this human cleansing bedevilling our land and people, advancing and invading our common well being, and unique sense of humour plus unity.

I sincerely condole with all peaceful loving people of plateau State to stand tall and be vigilant in Security and exercise restraint at all costs, and most of all to remain prayerful in God. And may God Almighty father over everything crest, and give us the fortitude, grace and strength to bear this heinous existence.

Because God. Is always on the side of the heaviest battalions and JOS is Jesus our Savior.
