Breaking -Plateau LGA elections to hold October 10 in 13 councils

Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, PLASIEC, on Tuesday fixed October 10th 2018 for the long-awaited local government election.

Addressing newsmen in Jos PLASIEC Chairman, Mr. Fabian Ntung, said the election will hold in only thirteen local government area of the state .
He said: “that the election would not hold in four local government councils of the state citing security.

Fabian said “The local government includes Jos North ,Jos south Barkin Ladi and Riyom, based on security advice we can not hold local government elections in these four councils
We were advised by security operatives not to conduct the elections in this four councils for now.
