Pharm. Chun John Ezekiel Submits Nomination Form For Barkin Ladi Constituency, Says Legislative Agenda Loaded

A House of Assembly Hopeful for Barkin Ladi Constituency, Pharmacist Chun John Ezekiel popularly known as ‘CJ’ today submitted his Nomination Form For the Plateau State House of Assembly, Barkin Ladi Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Pharm. CJ said their legislative agenda is loaded and we would not want to ignore same.

There would be robust legislatively engagements during my tenure.

We would ensure we legislate to improve the Education Sector.

The Health Sector would be given good attention because a healthy nation is a productive one.

He said his Constituency is rich in Agriculture and the great potentials are not harnessed. He said they would ensure greater attention is given to that sector.

He said the Security situation of his Constituency would be of utmost importance to him as a member. He said Operation Rainbow would be looked into, revived, restored and strengthened to address the security situations in the Constituency and State at large.

He said he will propose a Bill for the establishment of a Refugee and Internally Displaced Persons’ Commission within 3 months to handle the humanitarian crisis in the State.

“Our people would not continue to live in penury and camps in their lands” he said.

“The Capacity Campaign Team don’t only discover problems but proffer solutions”

“Our Activities would have timeline for actualization.” he posited.

He said he would also propose a Bill that would create State Road Maintenance Agency to address the infrastructural deficit and deterioration.

State Organizing Secretary of the Party, Hon. Yakubu Gwott Chocho who received the campaign team commended the boldness and competence of the Aspirant.

He said a level playing ground will be provided to all Aspirants contesting all positions.

“As a party, all Aspirants are ours and we would not be biased in anyway so that we would have a credible and transparent primaries at all levels” Hon. Chocho said.

He acknowledged receipt of the Nomination on behalf of the Party, congratulated the Aspirant and wished him the best.

Admonished supporters on Voters’ Card registration and good use of their Cards. He said those eligible to register should do so while those with the cards should keep them safe for use in sacking APC.
