Three persons have been killed by killer herdsmen in Zawra Village Miango Bassa LGA, Plateau State in the night of Friday 3rd August, 2018.

Among those killed are Emma Gado 22 years old, Ladi Monday age 30 and her 5 years old daughter Miss Mary Monday.

This attack happened after the visit of the New Commandant OPSH, Maj. Gen. Augustine Chris Chukwudi Agundu to the area.

In Jiri Village Miango District Bassa LGA, a native by name Monday Yirigwe Kwa has been declared missing since Thursday 2nd August, 2018.

When Viewpoint Nigeria contacted the Miango Youth Development Association Spokesperson, Mr. Lawrence Zongo he confirmed the attacks and figures of those killed.

He lamented that their people are being killed on daily basis without effort to bring the ugly an end to the ugly trend.

He said the killer herdsmen go about with dangerous weapons and kill people at their will without being arrest and prosecution to serve as deterrent to others.

He said the security concern of the area must be addressed holistically.

Government must demonstrate the will power to bring these killings to an end, he said.

He said it is the constitutional responsibility of government to protect lives and property of the citizens.
