Breaking: Dino Melaye released after alleged abduction

Senator Dino Melaye has been reportedly released after it was alleged that he abducted by unkwonn gunmen.

It was alleged that the Kogi senator was kidnapped on Thursday, July 26 on his way to Kogi state for his court case.
However, the senator in a tweet on Friday, July 27 claimed he had just escaped the abduction.

He wrote that he spent 11 hours in the wilderness and thanked Nigerians for their prayers that kept him safe.

He wrote: “I thank God once again for escaping another dangerous attack. I also thank Nigerians for their prayers and show of Love.
“Spent 11 hours in the wilderness traumatized but God preserved me. God is the best and in whom ONLY I trust. They will continue to try. WE SHALL OVERCOME!!!”
