The recent happenings in Plateau State that led to establishment of refugee camps for internally displaced persons resonates with our humanity and mandate to intervene with some relief materials

To this end, we visited the IDP camp in Heipang today and donated diapers, sanitary pads and other hygiene-related commodities.

The group was represented by Dr Surajudeen Junaid and Scientist Solomon Chollom with Scientist Tanimu Umar as the leader of the delegation.

Presenting the items, Scientist Tanimu Umar said the gesture was in line with the mandate of the group adding that personal hygiene of members in the camps was crucial to community health

Responding, the camp administrator thanked the group for the huge sacrifice
