Nuhu John Gyang the gentleman who was yesterday arrested by the Nigeria Police on trumped-up charges of cattle rustling was released last night following pressure from several sources.

It would be recalled that Gyang was picked up by plain cloths operatives following a covert operation to him to Sparkling junction yesterday.

Speaking to our reporter, Mr Gyang’s brother confirmed that his arrest was effected due to allegations lodged by herdsmen that he typically rustles their cattle using his vehicle etc.

As at this morning, Mr Gyang has been requested to again report to the police HQ for further interrogations etc.

It would be recalled  that Mr Gyang lost his wife (Janet Nuhu) and child (9 year old) in the senseless Gashish attacks where no one is yet to be held accountable.
