COMMENDATION LETTER

Plateau Youth G-17 Peace and Progressive Forum wish to commend Youth Initiative for Advocacy, Growth & Advancement (YIAGA) under the leadership of an astute personality, Mr. Sam Itodo for the great initiative, advocacy and Progressive engagements on the “not to young to run”

You have given hope to the youth not only to participate in the electoral process but to be involved deeply in the governance process. You have achieved what would stand the test of time.

We also wish to appreciate both chambers of the National Assembly for ensuring the Bill went through the legislative processes and passed into law.
You have demonstrated that you cherish the youth and believe in their enormous energies, contents and multidimensional capacities.

To the Thirty three (33) Houses of Assembly across the Country who endorsed and gave assent to the Bill, we remain grateful for having the youth at heart.

To other national critical stakeholders who supported the advocacy in all ramifications, you have done exceptionally great.

Finally, to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, we commend you for taking the bold step of giving hope to the youth by signing the Bill into law and made it effective.

It is our prayers that youths with unquestionable character, contents and capacity will use the smooth passage and assent to this Bill to law to unite and contest for elective position towards transforming and changing the ugly narratives of governance obtainable in Nigeria. This they can do by supporting other credible and competent youth contesting for elective position and translate their numerical strength to their advantage.

God bless the youth
God bless Nigeria

Mr. Dachung Bagos
Convener, Plateau Youth G-17 Peace and Progressive Forum
