Attack Attempt on Diyan Community Rim Ward, Riyom LGA Foiled by Locals

Report reaching Viewpoint Nigeria has it that what would had been serious attack on Diyan Community of Rim Ward Riyom LGA, Plateau State by suspected herdsmen was foiled by locals who repelled the attackers who came shooting sporadically.

The locals on hearing the gunshots ensured the attackers didn’t get to the village to carryout their inhuman attacks and killings.

Viewpoint Nigeria gathered that the youths of the area all came out to resist and repel the attackers who withdrew and ran for their safety.

Diyan Community is a stone throw from the scene of an attack where 9 persons were killed while going to Gwa-Wereng from Hoss Market on the 7th of November, 2017.
