THE COUNTRY REPRESENTATIVE, AYUC NIGERIA ATTENDS GENERAL ASSEMBLY AND OFFICIALLY FLAGS OF YOUTH ACTIVITIES IN PLATEAU STATE.
– Inaugurates 4-Man Independent Electoral Body.
Today was historic as representatives of youth organizations, stakeholders and AYUC members alike converge in Jos, Plateau State to witness the Official Launch of African Youth Union Commission (AYUC) in the State.
The Country Representative (Nigeria) of the organization, Lateef Oladimeji SALAAM, officially performed the launching ceremony and declared commencement of AYUC activities across the State.
While addressing the participants, Lateef Oladimeji implored the vibrant Youths to utilize their wealth of experience and kick-start activities on the Plateau without delay.
“AYUC Nigeria is progressively moving towards ensuring real youth development and purposeful engagement of all African Youths in Nigeria. We now have active presence across the country. Let’s strengthen our ties in collectivism and togetherness; success is assured” Lateef said.
Responding, the State Liaison Officer, Plateau State, Kirme Clemento Philip Velshik appreciated the National Officers for their presence, especially the Executive Chairperson Dr. Carl Oshodi for gracing the Occasion. He confirmed that AYUC activities would commence in earnest.
The Country Representative (Nigeria) also inaugurated a 4-man Independent Electoral Body with Friday Bako (Chairman), Bode Solomon Osaghie (Secretary) and two others.
In company of the Country Representative to Plateau State were James Ewaoche Amedu (AYUC Head of Logistics, Diaspora) and Agada Stephen Michael (National Director of Education and Training).
