Plateau NUJ congratulates new commissioners appointed by Lalong

Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Plateau State Council wishes to congratulate the newly appointed commissioners and permanent secretaries by Gov Simon Lalong into the Plateau State Cabinet.

This was contained in a statement jointly signed by  Paul Jatau the Chairman                 and       Peter Amine   the  Secretary

The statement reads that  ” NUJ believes that your appointment will bring a new lease of life to the State Government in its efforts to better serve the people of the state.”

“We are confident your appointments were based on your track records in your different careers. And, pray that you would bring your experiences to bear  positively on  Plateau people and humanity. ”

“As the watch dogs of the society, journalists on the Plateau and beyond look forward to working with you for the wellbeing of humanity.”

“We pray and solicit that you open your doors to journalists so that when we come seeking for information you will oblige us.”

“We are particularly happy with the appointment of Mr Yakubu Datti as Commissioner for Information and Communication. The NUJ considers his appointment as a round peg in a round hole.”
