News reaching Viewpoint Nigeria has it that some hoodlums belonging to the Sara Suka terror group that has been terrorizing people in some parts of Jos North tried to truncate the peace enjoyed in Mc Alley, Zaria Road in Bassa LGA of Plateau State yesterday Evening. The attack took place in yesterday Monday 26th February, 2018. 

Immediately after a crusade organised by a church in the community, some group of suspected “Sara Suka boys” who were alleged to be from a community in Jos North, attacked the worshipers there. 

The quick response by the Military at the Tippo – Roads Nigeria check point and that of the police helped in bringing the situation under immediate control.  

“Mista-Ali” as this land is called in some instances is the adulterated name for “Messrs Mc Alley,” a mining camp established in 1921 as Messrs Mc Alley  & Nicholls. The camp was located in the place popularly called ‘office.’ 

This adulteration can be attributed to mistakes in the pronunciation of Mc Alley as Mista-Ali… 

Mc Alley is Located 12km off Zaria Road, Via “Good Luck Ebele Jonathan road,” “Gada Biu” and “Farin Gada” Road Jos, Plateau State Nigeria.

It’s in Bassa Local Government, Pengana Constituency of Plateau State. 

The Climate reflects the beauty of Plateau State as it is surrounded by mountains around Tippo, Zuku and parts of Menta and Gurum.  

This land has a lot on offer in terms of Agriculture, Tourism, Mining/Quarrying, Trade and commerce. 

Because of the serenity of the Land, it “hosts” the annual NCCF Conference among other events. 

With this, the security is under red alert in the area to ensure that citizens enjoy their lives there in a community that has never experienced any form of uprising. 

One person was arrested and is currently in police custody.

The rest have escaped after smashing screens of vehicles parked around.

The group’s activities involve threatening people, snatching their possessions and inflicting bodily injuries on innocent citizens.
