APC committed to giving Youth it’s place of relevance in Nigeria   -Gov Lalong

Plateau State governor Simon Lalong on Monday  said the All Progressive Congress APC led administration  is committed to giving the Youths it’s place of relevance in the Nation  

Lalong made this known while speaking a workshop of peace building and conflict resolution organised by the Federal ministry of Youth and sports development in Jos

The governor who was represented by his Secretary to the Government of the state Rufus Bature  said this is to contribute their quota to National development 

The APC manifesto is very clear on this and government across all levels are working on strategically implementing this, for the rescue administration on the Plateau, our resolve to consolidating on the Peace, our proactive peace building strategy has seen us establishing the Peace Building Agency which is’ saddled with the responsibility of working amongst to build cohesive communities, I am happy to say the peace building agency has lived up to it’s expectation and the Youth empowerment component is being complimented by the Plateau small and medium enterprises development agency which we also established 

He said the choice of Jos as venue for this workshop on Youth and National development is certainly beyond the convenience of location, because our post conflict Peace Building experience attest to the many lessons that abound for the study of peace and conflict resolution on the Plateau, I am hopeful that the value of our shared experience will add value to this workshop. 

I see this workshop as a unifying programme that aims to bring together Young Nigerians of varying cultures and socio ethnic backgrounds to promote the integrity of our nation as one united indivisible entity, with ample opportunities for the self actualization of every citizen, the initiative of putting it together must be commended and sustained 

This administration in Plateau State would continue to embark on developmental projects that would better the lives of citizens of the state 

We are determined to continue to promote peaceful coexistence among citizens of Plateau State.

Lalong also  thanked the Federal ministry of sports and Youth development for bringing the workshop to Plateau state
