Like other countries gifted with a myriad of tourism potentials, PLSG has departed from the usual practice of simply sitting-down and waiting for investors to court it – it took the bull-by-the-horn and attended the World Travel Market Conference in London (6th November – 9th November 2017).
Manning the “Plateau stand” at the conference, the State Commissioner of Information – Mr Peter John Mwadkon, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Toursism – Mr John Best, the House Committee Chairman on Tourism – Mr Nyam Dareng, the Director of Press Affairs – Mr Emmanuel Nanle, the House Majority leader – Mr Henry Yunkwap, the Director of Protocol -Mr Sunday Biggs and a raft of others mounted the “Plateau Stand” at the conference –showing the immense tourism potential, cultural beauty and untapped capabilities of the state.
Numerous leads, connections, discussion and contacts were made with potential investors.
