Gov Lalong meets with the Plateau State Assoc UK EXCO

Being the “grand patron” of the Plateau State Association UK –the Governor Rt. Hon Barr. Simon Bako Lalong met with members of the Plateau State Association UK EXCO as part of his efforts of critical stakeholder engagement.

The meeting which commenced at 7:30pm at his abode in Central London saw discussions of critical aspects of the Plateau project Including Agriculture, Security, infrastructural development, youth empowerment, social mobility, human capital development and industrialisation.

The governor challenged the EXCO to be critical stakeholders and contributors to the Plateau Project through investments, partnerships and direct feedback.

In her address, the President of the Association commended the Governor for his simplicity of governance, openness and magnanimity –saying such qualities will propel the state to excellence and lofty heights. The president also thanked the Governor for honouring the invitation of the association to attend the fund raising event on 4th November 2017.

As well as members of the EXCO, two past presidents of the assocation – Dr Hale Gabriel Longpet and Mrs Josephine Choji were present.

The Governor and his team are currently in London to attend the World Travel Market Conference in London, where his Tourism cabinet have been locked in discussions with foreign investors in a bid to form partnerships and woo investments into the hospitality and tourism sectors.
