The Chief Executive Officer of Plateau State Polytechnic, Mr. Dauda Gyemang has debunked an online news that he is dead. He said the news by Jtown Connect, an Online news outlet is not only false but misleading and handiwork of mischief makers whose stock-in-trade is fabricating falsehood and misinforming and misleading the public.

Mr. Gyemang said he is healthy enjoying the Sallah holiday with his family and wonder why people could be so mischievous to the extend of wishing other people death. He called on the general public to disregard the false and malicious rumor which he said has generated a lot of concern and mixed feeling as he has been receiving calls from people calling to confirm the authenticity of the rumor.

Mr. Gyemang called on the public to use the social media well and not for peddling untrue stories which could have legal implications on them. He further advised that people should be able to verify and authenticate the information at their disposal before making it public especially sensitive information as such.
