The president of Nigeria Mr. Muhammadu Buhari who is on vacation in London has commiserated with the Minister of Youth and Sports Barrister Solomon Dalung on the death of his wife which occurred on Sunday 29th Jan 2017 after a brief illness in Jos . “The President prayed God to grant the soul of the departed eternal rest. In a statement issued on Tuesday by Nneka Anibeze, the Special Assistant, Media to the minister, and made available to journalists, she said Buhari commiserated with Dalung through the telephone from London.

“Buhari, who expressed shock at the death of Mrs Dalung which came at an unripe age, prayed that God would forgive her sins.

“He also prayed to God to give the family she left behind the fortitude to bear the loss.“The President promised to support the Dalung family in their moment of grief”, the statement reads in part.
