Operation Safe Haven deployed to restore law and order in Plateau ,Bauchi and Southern Kaduna on Sunday confirmed the killing  of 4 Persons by gunmen in Dorowa village of Barkin Ladi local government area of the state .

Spokesman of the Task force ,Major  Adam Umar in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos reads that “OPSH notes with dismay the continued attitudes of some criminal elements in Plateau state to make the state ungovernable ,through some unwarranted attacks on some communities and the innocent villagers despite the tireless efforts of the operation .”

The statement made available to newsmen in Jos further  reads that ” We regret to say that at about 03 00 hours on Sunday ,our men at Dorowa received a distress call  from a resident of Maraban Kantoma in Barkin Ladi that they were under attack by some armed bandits, our men  mobilized to the scene and repelled the attackers ,  the assailants who  were given a hot chase by our men escaped with various degrees of injuries ,while four of then were arrested ,however it is regrettable that before our men could get to the scene of the  attack ,four persons had already been killed by the attackers .

Meanwhile the commander of OPSH has relocated the headquarters of the operation to Barkin Ladi local government.

The commander has also relocated with all principal officers of the operation to ensure that this attacks are promptly brought to and end .

“We call on the people of the state especially the residents of Barkin Ladi to continue to have faith  in the operation ,we are fully on ground to continue to continue to discharge our duties of protecting every one , we remain resolute to achieving our mandate , we therefore using  this opportunity to warn any  criminals making or planning to make life miserable for innocent citizens to desist from the act and leave Plateau state as henceforth we are committed to invoking the full wrath of the law on the bandits and their sponsors “.

OPSH also call on well meaning residents of Plateau to continue to cooperate with us and promptly report to our men activities and movement of people around their environments
