Dr. Dayyabu Garga to host Muslims ,Christians Sunday

Immediate past Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government And Chieftaincy Affairs Hon. Dr. Dayyabu Yusuf Garga will on Sunday 2nd June 2019 host Muslims and Christians in an annual break of fast which he has continuously organized for the past years now.This will hold by 6.30pm at his residence in Rikkos.
In a release made available to Newsmen in Jos the Plateau state capital ,Garga has held such a meeting even before he became an appointee under the Lalong Administration.
For the past years, in demonstration of his commitment to the unity of Plateau State, Garga has ensured the day is observed despite the differences in religion and culture.
The annual breaking of fast has had in attendance members of the business community, the Nigerian Union Of Journalists NUJ,members of the organized private sector,religious bodies etc who have graced the sitting.
According to Garga, it is an avenue for all to come together and cement a robust relationship for plateau people across all divides.
The statement says the occasion will also be used to ensure the recently experienced security challenges in the state capital are looked into and addressed towards a mutually beneficial relationship across all divides.
It is expected that the breaking of fast will be attended by a diverse group of personalities because of the person of Dayyabu Garga.
The breaking of fast is also to pray and proffer possible solutions towards the success of the Lalong Administration as he returns for yet another term.
