Three persons have been reported dead in Toto LGA of Nasarawa State during the Primaries of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

3 persons were shot dead in Toto as over hundreds sustained gunshots injuries while trying to protest the relocation of ballot boxes to the State Capital, Lafia instead of counting it in Toto were the elections were conducted. The people said the relocation of the votes was to pave way for manipulation which they said they wouldn’t accommodate.

People were said to be fired by security personnel which led to the deaths recorded.

It would be recall after successful APC primary election in Toto, people were waiting for counting then the electoral officers said there was an order from Lafia which the votes will be taken to Lafia next action.”
