Col. Samuel Fwanje Gulong (Rtr) Takes Humanitarian Gesture to Vom Christian Hospital

Col. Samuel Fwanje (Rtr) today took a humanitarian visit to Vom Christian Hospital in order to extend assistance towards addressing some challenges confronting the Medical Centre.

Col. Gulong who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Theresa Fwangji (Wife), other friends and fans said his visit is purely humanitarian and nonpolitical.
He further said the gesture is to thank God for saving him from what he passed through. He said his life is a great testimony and has seen the grace and mercy in his lives.

He said he remains extremely grateful to God for saving him and bringing him back to his feet after falling seriously sick.

Col. Samuel Fwanje said one don’t have to be a politician or contesting political position before he can assist people and impact lives and the society.

He promised to continue to contribute towards human and societal transformation as God blesses him.

Col. Samuel made cash contribution to the Hospital through the Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. Fredrick M. Dachung.

The Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, Dr. Fredrick M. Dachung said the management of the Hospital is proud of Col. Fwanje (Rtr) who was born in the Hospital and has been showing great concern to the Hospital.

He said the Hospital has assisted many a great deal considering the long time it has been in existence.

He said the hospital is grateful of the kind gesture being demonstrated by the philanthropist, Col. Samuel.

The Medical Superintendent, Dr. Dachung received the donation on behalf of the Hospital, Social Services department, the church and said the Hospital will use the donation judiciously.

The delegation were later taken round the Hospital by the Medical Superintendent where the Philanthropist met with patience on their sickbed and assisted them individually praying God to heal them.

Vom Christian Hospital was Founded by Rev. Dr. Percy W. Barnden in 1922.

Father to Col. Samuel Fwanje, Da J. Gulong was the foreman during the Building of the Hospital.

Col. Samuel was born, attended his Primary Education and was brought up in Vom Jos South LGA, Plateau State and speaks Berom dialect fluently.
