2024 Christian Pilgrimage: NCPC Boss Pays Sensitization Visit to Adamawa State

In preparation for the 2024 Christian pilgrimage exercise, the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) Bishop Stephen Adegbite, paid a sensitization visit to the governor of Adamawa state, Rt. Hon Ahmadu Fintiri recently at the Government House, Yola.
The NCPC boss thanked the Governor for his continued support for Christian Pilgrimage.
He commended him for the massive infrastructural development in the state and for the peace and interfaith harmony being enjoyed by the good people of Adamawa state under his leadership.

The NCPC Boss also supervised the ongoing screening exercise for the Adamawa state intending pilgrims and the level of preparation made by the State Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board.
Speaking during the exercise , the NCPC helmsman said he was satisfied with the Adamawa state screening exercise.
He thanked the Governor for supporting the state Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board with all the necessary assistance for smooth 2024 Pilgrimage exercise.


Bishop Adegbite hinted that the next Pilgrimage exercise would commence by the end of May and would run through July, while the main Pilgrimage exercise would commence in November and would run through February, next year in line with the new NCPC calendar of activities.
Earlier, the acting Executive Secretary Adamawa state Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mrs Angelina Tumba, thanked the NCPC boss for finding time to visit the state and flagged off the screening exercise.
She explained that the primary role of the Board is to ensure smooth arrangements of Christian Pilgrimage activities.
Also, the Executive Secretary Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission cashed in on the visit to inspect the Commission’s North East zonal office in Yola.
