With barely four weeks to the governorship elections, a former governor of Plateau State and past senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Senator Joshua Dariye, has publicly declared support for Dr. Patrick Dakum as next Plateau State Governor.
Speaking today at the Baptist Plateau South Conference held at Alheri Baptist Church Langtang North, Dariye said his support is fully for Dr. Patrick Dakum, Plateau State Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate as the next Governor of the state, saying he (Dakum) possesses the wherewithal of piloting the state for the achievements of its goals and taking it to enviable heights.
In his speech, Dakum thanked Dariye for the support and praised the church for thriving in the vineyard of God by building God fearing people ready for his Kingdom. He admonished the church to do more most especially at this time that moral decayed is eating up the society and sin is making terrific impact in people’s lives.
He said there is nothing that can be compared to the knowledge of God and keeps the society progressing as the fear of God and righteousness.
In their donations, Dakum made his donation on behalf of his running mate, Hon. Edward Pwajok SAN, KSM, his family and the entire Consolidation for Greater Plateau 2023, while Dariye gave his donation and that of the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen.
