As Mammoth crowd welcomes Dr Nentawe in Kanke ,Kanam

All Progressives Congress APC governorship candidate in Plateau in the forthcoming polls Dr Nentawe Yilwatda ,has said he would also focus attention on rural development if elected governor in the forthcoming polls .
“If elected Governor ,my administration will extend project execution to rural dwellers and ensure they enjoy real dividends of democracy.”
” We would not overlook the rural areas as the people at the grassroots remain an integral part of the state.”
” We would eliminate hunger and poverty through job creation, industrialization and investment in the Education sector in the State”.
He said more public schools with adequate facilities would be provided in the rural areas, adding that education is very key to development .
“We would give everybody equal opportunity to maintain good governance in the State”.
Nentawe added that ” We would serve Plateau state with dedication, integrity, honesty, accountability, clarity of purpose and courage.”
” I will build on the legacies of present and past leaders of the state .”
Yilwatda stated this on Friday during his thank you tour and consultative meeting with stakeholders in Kanam and Kanke Local Government Areas of the state .
Our correspondent reports that the Governorship hopeful was received by a mammoth crowd in both local government councils as shouts of Ga Nentawe ,Sai Dr Nentawe took over the air as soon as the Candidate and entourage arrived both LGAs , as thousands throng the major streets of communities in both local government councils with posters of the Candidate ,giving Dr Nentawe a rousing welcome .
The Candidate was accompanied by his wife Dr Martina Yilwatda ,his running mate Hon Pam Botmang , the Director General of the state Campaign council Prof Sabestian Maimako ,APC women leader in the state Alice Dimilong , amongst other notable members of the Campaign council .
Dr Nentawe who unveiled his plans to tackle poverty challenges in the state head-on said
We will engage, empower Plateau youths and dedicate 10 per cent of our resources to the youths to enable them to become economically self-reliant.
“We will be transparent, free, fair and run an all-inclusive government while the youths will be mentored and appointed as commissioners and other positions.”
Nentawe Yilwatda vowed to tackle insecurity and revamp the state’s economy if elected governor in 2023.
Yilwatda added that his policy tagged ACCESS will govern Plateau without any discrimination of tribe or religion.
The governorship hopeful added that We will defend Plateau with all our strength , We shall deploy technology to complement human efforts .
Dr Nentawe further added that he is confident that the APC would win the forthcoming general elections.
Our party is intact from the National to the state level ,he enjoined APC members and loyalists to work together to win at the 2023 general elections , I urge citizen to vote for APC Plateau must stand be be counted ,we can’t be left out .
Chairman Kanke Local Government Council Mr Henry Gotip in his remark described Yilwatda’s visit as home coming of the son of the soil .
Gotip said the local government council is 100 percent behind Dr Nentawe.
He described Dr Nentawe as the best candidate to succeed Governor Simon Lalong .
Similarity the Chairman of Kanam local government Dr. Dayyabu Yusuf Garga, who was represented by his deputy at the stakeholders meeting in Dengi Hon Bala Haruna reiterated that the domain remains a stronghold of the All Progressives Congress APC .
Our correspondent reports that Dr Nentawe also commissioned a transformer in Myet village of Kanke local government council initiated by the council boss to boost rural electrification .
