*EASTER GOODWILL FOR THE GOOD PEOPLE OF KANKE LGC AND PLATEAU.

As we observe another Sunday commemorating the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our Saviour, we can always reiterate and echo its significance and the message.

No doubt, is sober reflecting to think about the mystery of Jesus’ crucifixion, death and Resurrection. What is peculiar is the latter.

Obviously we have seen innocent people put to dead on account of false accusations, conspiracy theories and baseless attacks. Similar to what Jesus experienced.

However, the uniqueness about Jesus’ death was the prophetic proclamation that proceeded it “after 3days I will rise again”. Behold it came to pass via Resurrection.

Christianly, His resurrection is the basement of our faith and belief. Without it, Christ is reduced to a mortal like you and I awaiting judgement.

To this end, as we isolate and hibernate our minds to celebrating this year Easter, we must feast on the key Message, which are:
1) Peacemaker : Jesus brought total peace between Pilate and Herod,(Lk 23:12)
Little wonder we called Him Prince of Peace.
My people, Is time you sort the differences and the tender nurtured enmity amongst us.
Yes, you can be the frontier in making peace with that your perceived enemy. Just swallow the resistance and begin a new leave today.

2) Love and Sacrifice: He laid down his life for our redemption. Thus, we ought to do unto others as is done to us.
Don’t forget, humanity was in need( ..for all have sinned) and He paid the redemption price.
Help a brother, sister or neighbor in need today by paying the price for that burden/challenge facing them.

3) Truth : The resurrection is not a myth but reality orchestrated by the Holy spirit.
The virtuous women at the tomb side were given the good news, ‘He is risen, go and tell the other disciples’.
Conversely and painfully, the guards/soldiers were bribed to go and lie about this truth that Jesus’ body was stolen by the disciples. (Mrk 28:12-15).
