PLATEAU YOUTH GROUP VOWS TO SUE DALUNG IF HE FAILS TO CONTEST FOR GOVERNORSHIP SEAT

A group of Plateau Youths has vowed to sue Barrister Solomon Dalung, the current Minister of Youth and Sports if he fails to contest for the Governorship seat of Plateau State.

YVGG group led by Gwamven Ndam, who paid a surprise visit to the Minister in his home town, Langtang in Langtang North Local Government Area of Plateau State says: “with your selfless commitment to the development of Plateau State and grassroots Sports development, it is a clear indication of your total love for humanity. Some of your achievements are well documented: Mabudi Federal Stadium for Plateau South, Kanam Federal Stadium for Plateau Central and renovation of Youth Indoor Sports Gymnasium Rayfield which covers Plateau North”.

The group vows to sue Barrister Dalung if he fails to contest for Governorship seat come 2019.

“We will not even sue you in Plateau Court but we will sue you at Federal High Court Abuja to express our fundamental human rights as enshrined in the1999 constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You have no reason not to contest for governorship seat as your appointment by President Muhammadu Buhari as Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has brought much impact to us”.

The group cries out that the present leadership in Plateau State has failed the masses and they can’t afford to take chances with this undemocratic leadership that jeopardizes our humanity”
