Speaking separately at the event, some youths, including Sunday Gini of the Plateau North Political Front, Nansat Bitrus of the National Youths Council, Kevin Pam of the PDP Youth Network, among others, stressed that the gesture was in appreciation of what the governor has done for youths in the state.
The trio maintained that the governor has been carrying the youths along in governance as witnessed in his willingness to “anoint” a youth to take over from him in 2015.
According to Bitrus, “The youths not only in Plateau North, but the entire state is fully in support of the governor going to the Senate, necessary support will be given to him because he has been standing by the youths.”
