2 died, 105 pupils survive car crash in Plateau ,Lalong offsets medical bills of victims

Two primary school pupils of Our lady of Faitima Primary and Nursery school in Kuru Jos South local government area of Plateau state have died following a car crash which occurred at Kuru Jenta village in the local government .
Our Correspondent gathered that the accident occurred around 7 30am on Monday when a bus converging the pupils to school veered off the road .
An eyewitness told our Correspondent that the bus veered off the road and started summersulating .
Our Correspondent reports that the Plateau State governor Simon Lalong on hearing of the incident immediately cut short his inspection of projects and rushed to the Plateau State hospital to sympathize with the victims of the accident
A staff of the school who does not want his name in print said about 105 persons survived the accident.
He said 76 persons are currently been treated in Plateau Hospital most of them sustained injuries,18 of our pupils are also recieving treatment in Ola hospital, while four of our staff are been treated at Bukuru hospital.
Our Correspondent reports that Lalong who visited the Plateau hospital described the accident as unfortunate sympathize with the school and family of the victims, Lalong also promised to offset the medical bills of the victims.
