On the first day of each month, all of the major streaming platforms add a number of new titles to their digital lineups. And perhaps nobody was more active than Hulu this month, as the streaming service adding a whopping 198 new movies and TV shows to its database.

But on the first day, we also lose a number of movies as well. At the end of July, Hulu will be saying goodbye to 27 different movies.

Luckily, you’ve got some time left to watch all of those movies. In this article, I’ll pick out what I believe are ten highlights of the films exiting Hulu. And at the end of the article, you’ll find a full list of the movies leaving the platform.

Batman Begins/The Dark Knight

Given that WarnerMedia oversees HBO, it probably won’t be much longer before all of the DC movies are housed exclusively on HBO Max. So before the end of the month, you should probably use your Hulu subscription to watch what many consider to be the height of the DC franchise: the first two Batman movies directed by Christopher Nolan.

Batman Begins and The Dark Knight star Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Liam Neeson, Heath Ledger, Katie Holmes, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Gary Oldman, Cillian Murphy, Tom Wilkinson, Rutger Hauer, Ken Watanabe and Morgan Freeman. The films were directed by Christopher Nolan.

A young Quentin Tarantino! This little-seen 90s gem oozes style and charisma and stars some pretty great actors (like Dylan McDermott and Nancy Travis) in their heydays. Destiny Turns on the Radio centers on a man who escapes from prison and joins up with another man named Johnny Destiny (played by Tarantino) in order to survive.

Destiny Turns on the Radio stars James LeGros, Dylan McDermott, Quentin Tarantino, Nancy Travis, James Belushi, Tracey Walter and Allen Garfield. It was directed by Jack Baran.

Diary of a Hitman

Another great 90s treasure that not a ton of people know about. Diary of a Hitman follows a man named Dekker (played by Forest Whitaker) who’s ready to give up his career as a professional hitman. He truly reaches a crossroads when his final hit involves a woman (Sherilyn Fenn) and her baby. This is a deliciously dramatic feature owns a great leading performance from Whitaker.

Diary of a Hitman stars Forest Whitaker, John Bedford-Lloyd, James Belushi, Lois Chiles, Sharon Stone and Sherilyn Fenn. It was directed by Roy London.

Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare

The Nightmare on Elm Street franchise took on many shapes and turns over the years after Wes Craven stepped away from the series. Several different directors delivered their unique takes—but perhaps none were more enjoyable (or insane) than Rachel Talalay’s Freddy’s Dead. Honestly, you don’t need to watch any of the other movies in the franchise to get a kick out of its “finale” (it’s not the finale, by they way).

Lady in a Cage

Oh man! They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Lady in a Cage focuses on an injured woman (played by the great Olivia de Havilland) who becomes trapped in her private elevator while several people rob her home. The film does a great job of building two different stories: the woman helplessly stuck in the elevator and the revolving door of thieves ransacking her home.

A Life Less Ordinary

Danny Boyle has enjoyed many great successes over his career: the cult-adored 28 Days Later, the certified classic Trainspotting, the Oscar-winner Slumdog Millionaire. But one of his lesser-known efforts from the 90s deserves your attention as well: the strange rom-com A Life Less Ordinary. The fantastical plot is so wild that I don’t think I possibly could do it justice with a quick summary—so just watch the trailer.

A Life Less Ordinary stars Ewan McGregor, Cameron Diaz, Holly Hunter, Delroy Lindo, Ian Holm, Maury Chaykin, Dan Hedaya, Ian McNeice, Tony Shalhoub and Stanley Tucci. It was directed by Danny Boyle.

Slums of Beverly Hills

Several huge actors and actresses dominated the 1990s: Tom Cruise, Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington, Susan Sarandon. But the decade was also scattered with smaller stars that worked on some underrated classics—and Natasha Lyonne is a standout in that category. One of her best movies was Slums of Beverly Hills, which tells the story of a family that lives on the outskirts of the famously upscale city.

Slums of Beverly Hills stars Alan Arkin, Marisa Tomei, Natasha Lyonne, Kevin Corrigan, Jessica Walter, Rita Moreno, David Krumholtz, Eli Marienthal and Carl Reiner. It was directed by Tamara Jenkins.

Soul Food

George Tillman Jr. has been involved in some great projects featuring African American stories: Barbershop, Roll Bounce, The Hate U Give, Mudbound. And one of his most adored films came in 1997 in the form of Soul Food. The movie follows a family that struggles to keep it together after its diabetic matriarch falls into a coma.

Soul Food stars Vanessa L. Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Nia Long, Michael Beach, Mekhi Phifer, Jeffrey D. Sams, Irma P. Hall, Gina Ravera amd Brandon Hammond. It was directed by George Tillman Jr.

Tank Girl

Another appearance from the great Rachel Talalay! And once again she travels in the fun campy lane with her cult film Tank Girl. The movie centers on a dystopian future where a powerful corporation has taken over the water supply—enter the titular Tank Girl (played by Lori Petty), who partners up with Jet Girl (Naomi Watts) to destroy the corrupt system.

Universal Soldier

Here we have two guys who have been criminally underrated over the years: Roland Emmerich and Jean-Claude Van Damme. Emmerich directed a lot of great blockbusters (which were, unfortunately, critically maligned) during his career, and Van Damme’s filmography is packed action gems that hold up years later. In 1992, the two paired up for Universal Soldier, which tells the story of two soldiers who are brought back to life by a secret military project.

Universal Soldier stars Jean-Claude van Damme, Dolph Lundgren, Ally Walker, Ed O’Ross and Jerry Orbach. It was directed by Roland Emmerich.
