Today we Celebrate a man who embodies Footprints in the land that we all proud ourselves of its heritage. A man of deep faith in the possibility of building a society where honesty, character and devotion to great ideals are uphold beyond the blind adherence to the enthronement of lies and unfaithful stewardships.

Through an innate quest for Footprints and genuine empathy, you became more alive to the plight and suffering of others , we have seen a rare demonstration in the lives of young men who couldn’t afford tuition , where you reached out and rescued them while you were still a student. We see this in the lives of many families who had their loves ones in the hospitals, they stayed overnight in tears, wondering where the miracle of paying their hospital bills could arrive, you were their answered prayers. To over 50 young men and women who are now in different tertiary institutions and secondary schools because you reached out to them. We saw the largeness of your Spirit in the lives of the unannounced 20 young men who secured entry into the Military because you reach out to them. We would have linked your intentions to politics except that these strings of events have survived decade even before your recent interest in politics.

Your life’s work was not to champion those with wealth or seek to identify yourself among those with power. It was to give a voice to those who were not heard; to help put on the ladder of progress of those who are without affluence through scholarships to young people and empowerments to countless others; and to help make real the dream of many people who desires to climb the ladder to a height of attainments.

Today we celebrate your stable character, indiscriminating friendship regardless of status, great kindness regardless of how the beneficiaries look like or how they worship, deep empathy and a deceptive sense of humour. The very attributes that qualifies you as a soon to be captain of a constituency where making Footprints will be a new norm with deep abhorrence over gambling with the aspirations of precious electorates.
We celebrate you today as you add a year and we leap in more hope for a great future of PKK that’s a lot prosperous through leadership that can lead with justice, Sincerity, depth of purpose and equality.
