The Mupun Cultural and Development Association,MUCDA on thursday said it is thankful to Government for listening to its cry as well as that of other citizens of Plateau state on salvaging the popular bend along the Panyam/Shendam road called “kwanan machiji”

MUCDA National President, Pedro Ardiyel Dafur stated this when he alongside his EXCO visited the deteriorating spot on the road to witness commencement of work.

He thanked the Federal and Plateau State Governments for listening to the cry of its people describing the project as key to the continuous development of the state.

He said MUCDA had cried out to the Plateau State Governor, Rt. Hon Barrister Simon Bako Lalong to interfere in salvaging the bend by calling on the relevant authorities to come to their aid and today this has become a reality.

MUCDA also appreciates various groups and individuals that have cried out at one point or the other for attention to be given to the road considering its great importance.

It promised the Federal and State Governments of cooperation by its people to see to the speedy completion of the project stressing that MUCDA will regularly visit the site to see the progress of work.
