Investigations by ViewPointNigeria indicates that former politicians who left the PDP, including Joshua Dariye, Pauline Tallen and Jerimiah Useni may be shut out of the party indefinitely, ahead of the on-coming primaries, because of a clever strategy currently being ochestrated by the state PDP leadership to only allow them back into the party, after the Gubernatorial primaries.
Analysis by ViewPointNigeria political analysts shows that these individuals have been told by the acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr. Raymond Dabo, that there was no way they (the defectors) would be allowed back into the party until due process was followed.

By due process, the acting Chairman means a situation where, the returning politicians, would go to their wards and re-register, following of which they would then be recommended by the PDP ward head to the PDP LGA secretriat -once accepted at the LGA level, they would then be recommended to the state secretariat by the PDP LG head.
With such a long, rigorous and beauracratic process and the many political events are this time, there is no how these politicians can be absorbed into the PDP fold before the primaries (slated for late October 2014) -as such, it is clear that mechanisms are being put in place to block them from joining the party.
At this stage, it remains unclear what would happen -should these individuals be blocked out altogether. What is clear though, is that immense uncertainly remains around who would fly the flag and how this may achieved.
