Some members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau state have resisted their commitment towards resisting imposition of candidates on the party. The party members made up of elders and youths made the vow when they visited the national headquarters of the party in Abuja.
Professor Dakum Shown who spoke on behalf of the elders stated that they rejected the preference of Senator Gyang Nyam Pwajok whom he described as an imposition. He said that they have registered their complaint against the decision of Governor Jonah Jang.

The former PDP state chairman said the actions of Governor Jang could make PDP lose Plateau state if no action is taken by party headquarters. He said that the party should decide between the decision of Jang and that of Plateau people.
