The Media Assistant to the Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial constituency, Comrade Nandom Kura has asserted that his boss, Senator Victor Mainasara Lar is far ahead of other contenders for the Governorship race in Plateau. He argued that given Senator Lar’s antecedents, acceptability and credentials; he is more poised to win the gubernatorial elections than any other person currently in the race. He revealed this to ViewPointNigeria’s correspondent in a chat in Jos yesterday.

The Media Assistant to the Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial constituency, Comrade Nandom Kura has asserted that his boss, Senator Victor Mainasara Lar is far ahead of other contenders for the Governorship race in Plateau. He argued that given Senator Lar’s antecedents, acceptability and credentials; he is more poised to win the gubernatorial elections than any other person currently in the race. He revealed this to ViewPointNigeria’s correspondent during a chat in Jos yesterday.

On the controversial issue of zoning, he responded thus “the zoning system has come to stay and nobody can alter it. I am assuring you that Sen. Victor Lar is far ahead of clinching victory. Plateau state deserves a leader who has got a proven pedigree, gravitas and political presence –all these qualities are only evident in Senator Victor Lar”.

Senator Victor Lar was a two term member who represented Langtang North and South in the Federal House of Representatives during Obasanjo dispensation, before he contested the Governorship seat of Plateau in 2007 under the defunct ALL NIGERIA PEOPLES PARTY (ANPP), losing to Chief Joshua Dariye. He is presently a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing the Southern Senatorial Zone.
