Plateau State Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Tyoden, has advised electorate in the state to go back to their various wards and bring credible candidates that can deliver and bring development to their respective communities.
The Deputy Governor threw the challenge to stakeholders and party officials of All Progressive Party(APC) at a town hall meeting in Mangu Local Government Area of the state.
While commending the party faithful for their support, Tyoden advised them, saying “start campaigns in your respective wards to enable APC wins the forth coming local government election elections in the state”.
Professor Tyoden explained that the reason of the meeting was “to nominate transition implementation committee TIC that would work out realistic modalities and strategies for the Local Government elections”.
Earlier,in an address of welcome, Mangu Local Government APC chairman Alhaji Tanko Muhammad appreciated the party stakeholders for coming, noting that “the party is determine to win the forthcoming LG elections”.
Also speaking, deputy personnel management of Mangu Local Government Area, Mrs Esther Pilot, said good governance was all about sacrifice and appealed to them to support the present administration.
There were goodwill messages by the women leader and other party stakeholders among others.
