Three brothers were yesterday Monday – 17th September 2018, attacked around Tina junction Jos by yet to be identified assailants. All three were said to have sustained critical injuries (with assessed to be life threatening).

Narrating the incident, one of the victims told ViewPointNigeria that at approximately 8pm yesterday Monday 17^th September 2018, himself and three of his brothers went to a local hospital around Tina junction to visit their cousin who had been admitted

They left the hospital at 9:30pm and on getting to Azi Gwom street at Tina junction, three men armed with machetes descended on them, hacking and maiming them.

The identify of the assailants could not be established because of the pandemonium and the fact that everyone scampered for safety, but all three brothers sustained deep cuts and are currently receiving treatment at G-Medical Centre in Jos.

Several of these fringe incidents have been happening in inner Jos metropolis lately, potentially putting a different spin to the past killings -which almost suggests that criminals are starting to exploit the existing confusion and are unleashing mayhem on the general population
