The Member Representing Jos South / Jos East in the Federal House of Representatives, Rep. Dachung Musa Bagos has called on all critical stakeholders in the educational system to become more committed to the plight of the “Next Generation of Leaders” as the nation marks yet another Children’s Day.

The Member while reacting to this years’ theme “Unite to Reverse the impact of COVID- 19 pandemic on Children” said all stakeholders must continually play critical roles in securing a formidable future for the children.

He said “We must all put our hands on deck to nurture a glorious future for the Next Generation of Leaders in Nigeria. That’s why I’m calling on all stakeholders to ensure that they protect themselves and the children from the dreaded Covid 19 pandemic. It’s still very potent and ravaging homes.”

The lawmaker also called on government to end the spate of kidnappings of school children and students as payment of ransoms has further emboldened the perpetrators to milk the nation dry as a veritable cash cow.

He enjoined his constituents to be vigilant and watchful while reporting any suspicious activity to security agents for prompt action.
