ViewPointNigeria reports of tension in Dong Village of Jos North.

Reports indicate that several Irigwe people who fled their home in Jebu-Miango have sought safe haven in the area (which borders Bassa LGA), but tensions have risen due to reports of an imminent attack.

In the past few days, scores of women and children  had left their homes and camped at various areas in the village, but word has spread of an imminent attack – causing pandemonium and tension.

At the time of filing this report, security personnel were already drafted to the area to secure it.
