As the wind of democratic change blows across nation, youth in Plateau state have decided not to simply watch from the sidelines as old politicians continue their old tricks of coercing and duping the electorate, but have decided to plunge themselves head-on, in order to get involved and contribute to the democratic process.
As such, the youth -under the aegis of ViewPointNigeria/Plateau Intelligentsia/MOPPLAH, have come together to organise a Televised Gubernatorial Debate (between respective flag bearers of PDP, APC etc) in order to give the electorate a chance to listen (first hand) to the manifestos and plans of the respective aspirants and to determine which of them is best to lead the state.

The exact date of the debate is yet to be firmed, but it is expected to be either at the end of the year or early next year. Party officials of the respective political parties are already being contacted in order to secure a workable date for the programme.
This would be the first time that youth in Plateau State are coming together to organise such an important event and marks a milestone for the future direction of Plateau State.
Watch this space -as ViewPointNigeria continues to bring more information about the programme!
