President Muhammadu Buhari has this evening, confirmed the constitution of the Boards and Governing Councils of 209 boards and Federal Parastatals.

Over 1258 individuals from all parts of the country were appointed into various positions ranging from Board Chairman to Member etc.

ViewPointNigeria’s review of Plateau state’s quota indicates that several individuals made the cut –with 5 appointed as Chairmen and approximately 18 as members of the various boards.

Those appointed board Chairmen include:

• Gen John Shagaya (Chairman of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, Kuru)
• Pauline Tallen (Chairperson – National Agency for Aids Control (NACA))
• Senator Timothy Adudu (Chairman of the Hadejia-Jama’a River Basin Development Authority).
• Dabang Mwelbish (Chairman – National Institute for Social and Economic Research)
• Alh Dasuki Nakande (Chairman – National Bio-Safety Management Agency)

Those appointed members of various boards include:
