Staff of Plateau institution call for sack of Provost

Some members of staff of the Federal School of Medical Laboratory Science, Jos, Plateau State, have asked the Minister of Health, Prof. Isaac Adewole, not to renew the tenure of the Provost of the college, Dr. Sunday Etukudoh, for the third time, as he has served his mandatory two terms in office.

The plea to the minister by the management and staff of the college came as the League for Human Rights has also petitioned the minister, asking him not to heed to the request of Etukudoh for the third term as the provost of the institution.

Etukudoh was recently released on bail from prison custody in Jos where he had been on detention for two weeks following charges preferred against him by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.

The petition by the Civil Society Organisation, on behalf of workers of the institution, said that Etukudoh did not deserve another term having served out his mandatory two terms.
