Continuing his advocacy visit to federal government parastatals in Abuja, the Plateau State Governor, Rt. Hon Simon Lalong visited the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency (SMEDAN) and explored areas of cooperation with the newly formed Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency under the leadership of Mr Haggai Gutap.

Meeting with the Director General, Dr Dikko Umaru Radda and other key staff at the agency’s headquarters on Wednesday 29th June 2016 – Lalong said areas of synergy and partnership will be key to development small and medium scale enterprises in Plateau state.

The agency’s Director General expressed the agency’s desire to assist states in key areas of developing small and medium scale enterprises -particularly through monitoring, stimulating and coordinating the activities of SMEs in the country.

Lalong was accompanied on the visit by – the Secretary of the State Government, Mr. Rufus Bature, Chief of Staff Government House, Mr. John Dafaan, Commissioner of Finance, Mrs Tamwakat Weli, Commissioner of Water Resources and Energy, Mr. David Wuyep and the Director General of the Plateau Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency PLASMEDA.
