Senator Yaro empowers over 25 Youths in Gombe South with Pensionable appointments

Senator Representing Gombe South in the National Assembly Sen. Anthony Siyako Yaro has empowered over 25 Gombe youths with permanent and pensionable appointments into the nation’s Premiere Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

Yaro has also demonstrated capacity in good representation and lobbying prowess at the National Assembly in just over one month after his resumption at the Senate.

15 Constituents of Gombe South Senatorial District were recently enlisted as Junior cadre while over 10 persons as senior officer cadre across the four Local governments of the Senatorial Zone

Amongst the Beneficiaries of the Senator’s gesture who spoke to our Correspondent on behalf of others, Mr Keneth Gabriel and Mercy Bulus from Balanga and Billiri LGA respectively expressed their eternal indebtedness to the senator and promised their best service to their fatherland in the fight against Drug Abuse and consumption of illicit substances.

The beneficiaries are set to resume training at various training formations across the country soonest.

It would be recalled that Senator Yaro was overwhelmingly elected as a first-timer into the 10th Senate during the 2023 General election to represent the People of Gombe South Senatorial District. Senator Yaro comes to the Senate with over 30 years of Banking and Financial Consultancy services experience behind him.
