Senator representing Plateau South Senatorial District at the National Assembly Sen. Prof. Nora Ladi Dadu’ut on Sunday revalidated her membership of the All Progressive Congress(APC).
Our correspondent reports that the Senator visited her polling unit to participate in the exercise in line with the ongoing nationwide membership registration and revalidation exercise by the party.
Sen. Prof. Nora Dadu’ut who revalidated her membership of the All Progressive Congress (APC) at her polling unit in kwalla moeda ward of Qua’an-pan LGA, Plateau State was accompanied by APC Caretaker Committee members, Southern zone APC Chairmen (the 6 LGAs), Chairman and Deputy Chairperson of Qua’anpan LGC, Party Stakeholders in the LGA, her legislative Aids, and other party stalwarts and members.
Speaking after a successful revalidation of her membership, the Senator said her objective was to ensure that the party is returned to the people at the grassroots, progressing upwards from polling unit, to ward, to the local government, to state and federal level.
She further charged her constituents to take active participation in the process in other to benefit from good governance as well as encourage those who are of voting age to participate in the ongoing registration and revalidation exercise and get involved in the process to vote and be voted for.
Sen. Prof. Nora Dadu’ut thanked APC Caretaker Committee Chairman Qua’an-pan and other zonal Chairmen who accompanied her down to the constituency to register as the Senator and member of the party.
The APC Caretaker Chairman Chief Latep Dabang in his remarks said ‘’the registration and revalidation exercise was In line with the mandate given to us by the National Executive Committee of our great party under the APC leadership’’. He also acknowledged the effort of the technical monitoring Committee for coming all the way from Abuja for the exercise. He further emphasized that the Senator’s participation is an open gate to the constituency and the party at large
