The election of a new President for the Church of Christ in Nations at the recently held General Church Council in the person of Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo has been welcomed and applauded by Senator I. D. Gyang of Plateau North Senatorial District.
Senator Gyang says the new President comes into leadership at a trying moment in the history of the nation and the global community with health and security challenges of pandemic proportions. He is however persuaded that Rev. Dr. Mohzo has been prepared and equipped spiritually and mentally to lead and lead well, more so that it is not by power nor by might but by the spirit of the Lord.
The Senator calls on the church to pray for local and global spiritual revival and success of the new President against the gates of hell that do wage war to distract and destabilize godly and focused leaders.
Senator Gyang equally appreciates the service and ministry of the outgoing President, Rev. Prof. Dachollom Datiri the reward of which God will make manifest both in the land of the living and the hereafter.
Congratulations, Rev. Dr. Amos Mohzo, new COCIN President.
